The African Network Information Centre (AFRINIC) is the Internet Registry for Africa. AFRINIC's core function is the allocation and management of Internet numbers (Internet protocol [IP] addresses and Autonomous system numbers [ASN]) for the African region.

What are Internet numbers

IP numbers are unique identifiers that every machine needs to connect to the Internet.

ASN uniquely identifies networks on the Internet.
