Over the past weeks and following on from talks at last year's ITU WTSA and WCIT events, both AFRINIC and the RIPE NCC have been asked to participate in discussions concerning the possibility of establishing a new Regional Internet Registry (RIR) for the Arabic-speaking community.

This is a call to present at the Africa Internet Summit (AIS) 2013. The AIS (AfNOG-14 and AFRINIC-18) will be held in Lusaka, Zambia, from 9 to 21 June 2013.
Following some claims of inaccurate billing information in MyAFRINIC portal, investigations were launched on Friday 11th January 2013 to determine the source of the problem, and take immediate corrective action.
