NIGERIAN VISA
REQUIREMENTS
All visitors are required to have a visa to Nigeria except for citizens of countries belonging to Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) which include Nationals of Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Chad, Côte d’Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo for stays of up to 90 days.
Visas must be obtained
in advance through the Nigerian consulate in your home country.
All visitors also require a passport valid for at least six months
beyond the end of the visit, and a return ticket or documents for
onward travel. Those entering for business reasons must also have
a letter of invitation, verification from Nigerian representatives
abroad stating purpose of entry, and sufficient funds.
Entry requirements
for Americans: United States citizens must have a valid
passport (must be valid for at least six months after period of
intended stay). A visa is required.
Entry requirements
for UK nationals: British citizens must have a valid passport
(must be valid for at least six months after period of intended
stay). A visa is required.
Entry requirements
for Canadians: Canadians must have a valid passport (must
be valid for at least six months after period of intended stay).
A visa is required.
Entry requirements
for Australians: Australians must have a valid passport
(must be valid for at least six months after period of intended
stay). A visa is required.
Entry requirements
for South Africans: South Africans must have a valid passport
(must be valid for at least six months after period of intended
stay). A visa is required.
Entry requirements
for New Zealanders: New Zealand citizens must have a valid
passport (must be valid for at least six months after period of
intended stay). A visa is required.
Entry requirements
for Irish nationals: Irish citizens must have a valid passport
(must be valid for at least six months after period of intended
stay). A visa is required.
Note: Passport
