Adiel A. Akplogan
Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Adiel A. Akplogan is the CEO of AfriNIC Ltd. He is In charge of the overall business and operation management of AfriNIC and Coordinate different activities with other Regional Internet Registry since 2003. He previously served as New technology Director at CAFENet in Togo (1994-2000) then as IT Manager for Symbol Technologies in France (2001-2003).

Razi Ahmad Muslun
Finance and Administrative Area Manager

Razi joined in June 2009 as Business Area Manager and in this position he will oversee the Finance and Accounting Unit, the Office Unit and the Human Resources Administration function. He is responsible to provide overall direction for all activities related to administration, human resource, facility management and security.

Kiran Cunniah
Office Unit Manager

Kiran joined us in February 2007 as Executive Assistant. She holds a B.A in Law and Management from the University of Mauritius.

Accounting Assistant

Veena joined in April 2009 as Accounting Assistant in the Business Area. She is responsible for accounting work involving the preparation, maintenance, and review of financial and related records, timely research, data entry, reconciliation, and maintenance of AfriNIC accounts.

 

Nathacha Rennel
Front Office and Travel Assistant

Nathacha joined AfriNIC in January 2008 as Front Desk Assistant. She is from Mauritius.

Lilian O. Sharpley
Communications Area Manager

Lillian joined AfriNIC in June 2008 as Communications Area Manager and will be in charge of Development programs and will oversee Marketing, Training, Policy Liaison and Web Design functions at AfriNIC.

Events Coordinator and Membership Liaison Officer

Stephanie joined in April 2009 as Events Coordinator and Membership Liaison Officer in the Communications Area. She is primarily responsible for planning and coordinating events, developing the sponsorship program, and for ensuring that quality services are provided to members.

 

Tamon A. Mukom
Training Manager and Policy Liaison Officer

Tamon A. Mukom joined in September 2009, as Training Manager and Policy Liaison Officer. He works closely with AfriNIC’s key areas to accomplish the effective execution and implementation of the AfriNIC policy through facilitation with members of AfriNIC community; develops and maintains AfriNIC Member training strategy and program; provides secretariat support to AfriNIC PDP-MG (Policy Development Process Moderators Group).Tamon is from Cameroon.

Nishal D.Goburdhan
Technical Operations Area Manager

Nishal D. Goburdhan joined in August 2009 as Technical Operations Area Manager. His is responsible for providing company-wide direction in the areas of technology policy and services, and ensure that AfriNIC has an effective and efficient infrastructure for current operations and future development. He holds overall responsibility for AfriNIC's technical operations, including the Internet Number Resources Service and its tools, Infrastructure security and management, Software Engineering and development. Nishal is from South Africa

Ernest Byaruhanga
Registration Service Manager

Ernest Byaruhanga is the Registration Services Manager at AfriNIC. He oversees the allocation and assignment of IP number resources to Network Operators and other enterprises in Africa and the Indian ocean region. He also deals with policy development and member training. He worked previously as a Systems and Network Engineer at Uganda Telecom's Data Division.

Alex joined in March 2009 as Software Engineer in the Technical Operations Area. He is responsible for the full life cycle of software development supporting the functionality and mission of AfriNIC. Alex is from Nigeria

System Administrator

Hari joined us in November 2006 as System Administrator.

 

 

Laban M. Kimotho
Database Manager and Software Developer

Laban M. Kimotho joined in August 2009, as Database Manager and Software Developer. His primary responsibility is database management to ensure that organisational database systems are secure and sound, but he is also a chief collaborator in the infrastructure, and software development process, and supports software engineers in the design of operational software. Laban is from Kenya.

 

 

Duksh K. Koonjoobeeharry
Webmaster/Graphic Designer

Duksh joined AfriNIC in December 2007. He is responsible for maintaining and generating content for the AfriNIC websites as well as handling all Graphic Designing for AfriNIC. Duksh has previously worked as Multimedia Designer/Web Developer in several BPO organisations in Mauritius.
